Nightlings are a massively lazy race of self-centered, lizard-like humanoids. Though rarely explicitly cruel, they seek sloth and gluttony above all, and enjoy being in positions where they can lounge all day, eat, and tell other people what to do. They are quite good in such positions, and so often find themselves used as managers, bureaucrats, and art critics.
Your nightling character has the following traits
Ability Score Increase. Your Strength score increases by 2. Your Constitution score increases by 1.
Age. (see DotF)
Alignment. Self-interested, indolent, and careless, nightlings tend toward Chaotic Evil as an alignment.
Size. Your size is Medium
Speed. Your walking speed is 30 ft.
Natural Armor. Your AC equals 13 plus your Dexterity modifier.
Darkvision. A nightling sees in the darkness well. You can see in dim light within 60 ft. of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Snuff Lights. As an action, once per day, you can cause all lights within 30 ft. of you to be extinguished.
Fearful Presence. As an action, once per day, you can cause the frightened condition in someone by making a successful Intimidation check against them. The creature remains frightened for one round.
Light Sensitivity. A nightling takes disadvantage on attack rolls in bright light.
